Book Review: The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle #2) by Maggie Stiefvater

Hi, everybody!

As promised I have an extra book review for you. When I’ll post a book review in the weekend you will see that it has changed a little but that’s just because I didn’t like how my book reviews are now because there’s barely any structure in it. But you’ll have to wait till the weekend to see that. 🙂 For now I have a book review of The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater.

!!! This is a sequel so there are spoilers for the first book !!!

Titel: The Dream Thieves

Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life. Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after…

My review

The world in this series is so interesting and intriguing. I already thought that when read the first book and now it even become more magical.

I still find it quite difficult to describe all the characters. They’re all different and unique but it’s just hard for some reason.
We get know some more about Ronan, Adam sees more and more of his father in himself, Gansey’s still searching, Noah dissapears from time to time and Blue’s wondering if she’s in love with Gansey.
At the end of the first book we discover that Ronan can get dream out of his dreams, literally. In this sequel we read about him coping with this ability and it’s a very important aspect of the book.
Maura, too, the mother of Blue, get’s her own story and I’m excited to find out how that will develop in the next books.

The book was really good and the end was very thrilling but in the middle there were about 50 or 70 pages where I really didn’t get through that easily.
Exclusive that it was great! Can’t wait for Blue Lily, Lily Blue.

Have you read this book? What did you think of it? Comment below or comment the link to your review if you have one, I’d love to read it. 🙂 I will see you on Wednesday!
