The TBR Book Tag

Hi, everybody! It’s the last day of the weekend (sorry for the reminder) and I’m going to give you the TBR Book Tag! I was tagged by Lala’s Blog and you can see her post here. Thank you so much for tagging me!

The questions

How do you keep track of you TBR pile?

My TBR pile is actually not that big. I only recently really started buying more books so I can keep track of my TBR pile easily.

Is your TBR mostly print or eBook?

I don’t have any eBooks. I just like books with paper and ink more. The smell, you know. (I actually have quite a funny story about smelling books. XD  If you want me to tell you comment below.)  Probably some day I will buy some eBooks but I don’t have desire to do so now.

How do you determine what book from your TBR to read next?

As I already told you: I don’t have that many books in my TBR so it’s quite easy. I just pick up what I wanted to read for already some time or I read what I feel like reading.

A book that’s been on your TBR pile the longest?

A month ago, I think, I got something like 20 fantasy books from a friend’s dad. These are the books that are the longest on my shelves so this proves that I really don’t have that much books on my TBR pile. XD I can’t think of a title at the moment but it are just some older fantasy books.

A book you recently added to your TBR?

This Wednesday  I went to the bookshop and I bought there All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. That’s the last book that got a place on my shelves for now and I’m actually planning on starting reading it today since I finished To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee yesterday.

A book on your TBR strictly because of it’s beautiful cover?

I actually don’t buy books just because of its cover. I’m sure I will one day but just not now. Since I’m only 14 years old I want to spend my money on books I really want to read.

A book on your TBR you’ll never plan on reading?

A year ago I got all these books from my French teacher and I was so happy I got to keep them. But that was a time when I didn’t know Bookstagram and Booktube excisted (a very dark time indeed) and I was happy with every book I got. But now I feel like there are so many books I do want to read and I actually don’t want to spend time on reading those books I got from my teacher. As you can see at question 4 I don’t even count those books as my TBR.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?

I can’t wait for Library of Sould by Ranson Riggs and the sequel of A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J. Maas to come out!

A book on your TBR that everyone has read but you?

I seriously could mention a lot of books but these are some books (mostly series) I really want to read but I haven’t bought them yet.

• Book #3, #4, #5 and #6 of The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
• The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
• Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan
• The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

I’m sure I have more but those are the ones I can think of right now.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

I have two friends who say I really have to continue The Mortal Instruments series but I know I have to! The problem is that my mom doesn’t let me order them. -_-

A book on your TBR that you’re trying to read?

I already want to read The Sword by Debora Chester for a couple of weeks but almost every week I buy a new book and then I read that one first. :p

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?

I don’t use that shelve that often but there are currently 84 books on the TBR shelf.
